Lessons with Kat
One of the services offered at the ranch is instruction. It is our desire to encourage those just beginning in their horsemanship as well as providing challenging learning opportunities for those that are more advanced. Age is not a factor in determining the readiness of acquiring horsemanship skills. There is so much to learn and opportunities can be provided for all those with a desire and determination.
We offer lessons on our horses or yours. Each student works with their horse from the grooming and tacking up to the cooling down and care after the ride. The length of each lesson varies with each student, but generally last about an hour. Younger students will generally have a lesson from 30 to 40 minutes.
Lessons are usually given in a private situation. On occasion, as skills progress, the option can be given to join a group of 3 or less riders.
